"When I started my journey with Better Balanced I wasn’t sure what to expect. After my consultation I was quite surprised to see that I was surviving basically on carbs and peanut butter, and very low on protein and veggies. So I changed the foods I was putting into my body and within the first weeks my results shocked me. Turns out I was eating all wrong and not fueling my body with what it needs. "After months of indulging in foods and lack of exercise, my clothes started to not fit, and I started to become very unhappy with myself. I have tried every diet – they worked at first, but they were just a quick fix. I always ended up putting the weight back on plus some. I kept hearing about Better Balanced from friends and family, and I decided to give it a shot. I don’t usually like measuring out foods or meal prepping, so I wasn’t sure if it was for me. I was very wrong. Caitlin gave a very lengthy and detailed plan for me based off a questionnaire I filled out. She provided tips, recipes and constant support. "I was on a healthy path and THOUGHT I was eating right while being active, But my scale was not moving and I was getting married so I needed to reach out for help. Turns out I wasn't eating enough! And I definitely needed more protein. Caitlin helped me lose 10 lbs in about 12 weeks. She is so encouraging and I remember one of the first things she said was you shouldn’t have to bring your own separate food to a bbq or party. It truly is all about balance.
